The Alternative Party promotes experimentation and psychological change through digital arts, utilising the demoscene mindset of breaking boundaries, mixing machinery of different eras and capabilities. It has invited special guests such as legendary game developer Jeff Minter (Llamasoft, UK), one of the creators of ARM, Sophie Wilson (ARM, UK), pioneer of EBM and industrial music, Front 242 (Belgium) and adventure game and jazz music extraordinaire, Al Lowe (US).
