This years event is now over. Alternative Party wants to thank all the visitors, speakers, artists, sceners, exhibitors, sponsors, partners and ALL of you for a warm and lovely event we got.

The goal of making parties is to party party! Alternative Party 2009 is filled with social programme designed to suit the most advanced tastes. Following our daring theme 'Cyberpunk' we are proud to present our new line breaking programme we have in addition for everything else:

Alternative Party Warmup Club Why wait until Friday when you can begin partying on Thursday? Alternative Party warmup club will be held on Thursday 22nd of October at 19. Music, friends, demoscene attitude and cyberpunk atmosphere. Free of charge. Everybody invited. Be there!
Cyberpunk Dinner with menu Desnai' Enjoy a delicious three course dinner with good wine and friends! Begin your party weekend with a tasty dinner on the Friday evening 23rd of October at 18 in a cyberpunk atmosphere. You'll be likely to meet your heros and stars in here as well. After the dinner, you are ready for the opening show at 20 in the main hall, followed by music concerts and the full weekend of enjoyment! Check the menu
Psychosis Psychosis is a space, where the sense of reality begin to blur. Take your shoes off and step bravely inside! In co-operation with Mind Alterting Games. Design and idea by Siiri Koski. Wall cloths and idea by visual artist Anna Knappe.
SpeedDating Looking for meeting up with new people? Looking for the mr/mrs Right? The chance of your life to meet cool people at AltParty; we are giving you a chance to meet new cool people via speeddating. Separate rounds for the ones looking for mr/mrs Right and those who simply just want to meet new cool people. Friday at 22 at Nebula Club.
Striptease Contest It's our chance to DARE you! Do you dare to climb up the stage and undress in front of people? We suggest you still keep your underwear on, but be prepared to show what you are made of!
Cyberpunk Costume Competition Dress up as a true cyberpunker, a strange scientist or cyborg from a future or as your worst dystopian nightmare. Saturday at 14.
Family day on Sunday 25th October Bring your children to enjoy the computers mummy and daddy used when they were young. The family day inludes e.g. computer art workshop, cyberpets, language course in Italy and more. Read more (in Finnish).
Cooldown VIP Sauna We warmly invite all our international guests and our VIPs to the sauna evening on Sunday at 16.
