Now, a month later I finally got time to write something about the Alt demowall. For those who do not know Alternative Party organized a demo event at the night of the arts, showing demoart to great public in the middle of Helsinki city.

Even though we were a bit late I was astonished by how many people were waiting for the show to begin. I was prepared to see mostly some familiar faces from the  demoscene but there were thousands of people and the place was really crowded. There were even people watching on the other side of Mannerheimintie.

The show was compiled by Pilvari "nosfe" Piirtola to give a sneak peek of the democulture. You can see the compilation on this Youtube playlist. It includes almost every demo featured on the original playlist.

Feedback about the event was positive. Mostly people said that it was great and hope it will be there next year too with a more powerful projector, PA and a larger screen. Actually we had to relocate the PA during the event because it was about to trigger the alarms at Kiasma.
