Cartes Flux 2010 Festival presents a selection of Finnish and international film shorts executed within the last few years. Second screening takes place on Saturday October 23th at Cable Factory Helsinki, as part of the Alternative Party.

Within the film selection the majority of the artworks are either fully digitally modeled or the audiovisual material has been treated in a way that would not have been possible without the digital means. In order to bring forth a more complete spectrum of the happenings of the current New Media, the selection also includes some more traditional film or video works, where the attention is directed more towards the experiments of the narrative form rather than experimenting with the new technologies.
