Space, the forgotten frontier
It’s the year 2010 and the turn of another decade of the new century. As our search for alien life expands and robots explore ever further into our solar system, and the universe, it is prudent to examine the state of space exploration and the limits of our minds. What happened to the dreams of humans reaching to the stars? What mistakes have been made, and where did the ambition go? Are we approaching the borders of our imagination and thus the very limits of our abilities to expand? Through presentations and technology demonstrations, the Alternative Party 2010 will be examining visions for space travel and space technology of the past, the present and the future. Both in the practical challenges, as well as through dreams and artistic expression. Will we forever be stuck to this world?
